Haters to the left

Aren't you all just the sweetest?  I get one nasty comment and my sweet friend Jennifer calls in the troops.  That's what I love about this great community of teacher bloggers.

Unfortunately for Anonymous, I have a really good sense of humor.  Even if I'm a b*%^* who doesn't have a f%$^$%@ life.

My game plan was to delete and move on without mentioning it on here, but then I got this comment.  For your reading pleasure {I bleeped out some naughty words}:

{The comment he removed said, "Come at us b------!!!"}

What I love the most about this is that dear Mathew is all, you're never going to have kids, will for ever be alone {Mathew must not know that for and ever go together here to make forever.  Otherwise it seems like he's getting something for ever.  I don't really know what you get for ever.  I digress.}... and you probably "might" {why did you put might in quotes, Mathew?} be living with your parents {FYI, I don't.  I live on my own.}  Back to what I love most.

Ready?

This part:

"Anonymous is my friend and we are one of the best athletes and smartest people at our high school (we do have a life)."

{Mathew, I put quotes around that because I lifted it from your comment.  That's when you use quotation marks-- in case you were curious.  Who am I kidding?  You're the smartest person at your high school so I shouldn't have to tell you that.  Silly me.}

So let's get this straight:

Anonymous is one of the best athletes at his high school.

Mathew is one of the smartest people at his high school.

And they both have a life.

Which is why they were reading a teacher blog.

On a Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Because they have a life.

That makes total sense.

Thanks for the laughs, boys.  Now listen to your mothers and go clean your rooms.  Because you probably "might" still live with your parents.

You're are an inspiration and I love all your ideas. Haters are going to hate and the best solution is to laugh it off :) I'm sorry that you have to read unkind comments from people with nothing else better to do with their lives beside putting others down.

Keep up the good work!

Hey Caitlin! I was already going to come by and leave you some blog lovin' after reading your last post because I wanted to be sure you knew that you have been one of my favorite bloggers to follow, and that I'm super happy for you and your new adventure.

However, now that this ridiculous hater comment game has started, I also wanted to be sure no one overlooked the fact that Mr. Loden and his friend, Anonymous, must not have enough athleticism and brains to stand on their own, as he stated that "we are one of the best athletes and smartest people at our high school." Interesting! Apparently, that must mean Mr. Loden thinks 1 + 1 = 1.

...so much for those smarts, huh?

Y'all are cracking me up with your comments! This is what Mathew had to say for himself:

Mathew Loden has left a new comment on your post "Haters to the left":

I'm very sorry!
I won't do it again...
Good luck

I don't know why he would delete a perfectly good apology... LOL

I have a cramp from laughing so hard!
I think what scares me the most is that Matthew and Anonymous are in high school- they will be entering the workforce soon----Oh dear Lord, save us all!
I'm a primary teacher and even I don't blog stalk on Sat nights!!!

Too funny-
you are amazing- thanks for correcting Matthew's very faint hold on grammar and writing:) He needs it:)

Baahaaaaaaahaaaaaaa :) I can't stop laughing. I'm so proud of you for having a sense of humor in all of this nonsense. I'm loving the fact that you called them on "having a life" (quoted for a reason) and spending time blog stalking on a Saturday night.

I'd call them losers, but then I'd be like them, too.

So, I guess I won't.

You are the best :)

Love your blog. Good luck with all of your changes! Perhaps it is a good idea to remove the anonymous option to comments?

I feel rather sorry for your 'haters'... they obviously lack interests, hobbies, friends, personalities and an interesting life if they spend their weekends reading blogs about teaching!

If you have to be the one to boast about yourself about being an "athlete", it generally means everyone else disagrees!

Kristin said...

When you have haters, you're officially famous. So count yourself awesome. :)
And I just can't believe it. CANNOT believe that they took the time to comment like that.
Do they not know the world they're dealing with??? This is BLOGGY LAND! We stick up for each other. We will not allow this!
PS I am behind on my blog reading so I just read your last few posts and I want to say congratulations on your new position!!!!! How exciting!
